We were here on a Saturday morning for a short escape from Milan, about 1h20 away.The final stretch of the road to reach the restaurant is a bit difficult, but then you arrive in a peaceful corner with a beautiful view of the lake and a large nearby lawn. The restaurant is welcoming with a homely atmosphere. 4 of us split some appetizers and then had a dish each. Both the first courses (canederli and pizzoccheri) and the second courses (braised meat with polenta and sausage) are excellent. For dessert there are delicious homemade cakes. Bill 25/head. From the refreshment point we took a short walk into the woods which led to a magnificent viewpoint over the lake.

Perfect for escaping the heat. Excellent cuisine. Welcoming and friendly restaurateurs. Lying down on the lawn after eating is poetry. To be reached on foot or by bike to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the forest.

Great atmosphere (fireplace with real fire) and cool and unique interior. Service fast and friendly. Food INSANELY good, portions very generous and prices totally okay (We were in two and had a 3 course menu with wine, coffee etc. and paid less then 60 Euros). Highly recommend!
